Underneath, the unintelligible truth."

GRAPHIKA MANILA. I had second thoughts about going… but then in the end, it still sounded like a worthwhile experience. And so i went, 9 friggin' am and i was already at MOA… I felt like such a dork. Good thing sheena was right behind me and arrived just a few minutes after i did. Hoorah fellow dork. hahahah.

Good lord what a long registration line that was! I saw quite a few cuties here and there while waiting… and then there were my schoolmates. :p hahah. There were also the hot motorolla girls, the nice bouncer dudes, and the over-zealous organizers. They pretty much prepped us for one knock-out show… unfortunately, not all of the speakers were memorable.

It started out quite slow with MK12… They didn't make it to the Philippines admitting to the fact that they got pretty scared about the whole typhoon thing, so they did the seminar through video conferencing. They were a laugh. It would've been better though if they were actually here coz then we wouldn't have had all the dead air and shit. But they were good no doubt. One of the best that day.

AND THEN, my goodness, came Avid Liongoren. I didn't even know he did all the stuff that he showed us! That guy is pretty darn talented, and extremely funny too. He's directed and created videos for a lot of Filipino musicians: Kitchie Nadal (same ground), Rivermaya (Sunday driving) and Kamikazee (Martyr Niyebera - THE BEST! hahah!). He's also made local and international commercials for Smart (panday theme), Robitussin (darna theme), Islander (the new one, in the barrio) and Suzuki (two TVCs in Singapore). I love, LOVE him…! And the Chroma-men rocked too.

Inksurge was also there… AGAIN, it was a little slow. They were kindof boring to listen to actually… BUT, they started out with a really funny video presentation, and they really did show us what they've got. Undoubtedly, these guys are really talented people. They have pretty cool stuff under their sleeves… they're creative, imaginative, versatile, and yet they stay true to their style without boring anyone who takes a look. Kick-ass work creates fans…. i like 'em. c:

Team Manila… yes, the infamous Team Manila. hmm… I really have nothing to say. I do remember their presentation for a reason… however, for the sake of my safety, i really don't want to say anything more. Uh, they're a really cool group of guys though, and i hope it works out with the whole MMDA art project (kudos to you guys for thinking about that).

Joshua Davis… Oh dear, Joshua Davis. THAT DUDE DROVE US NUTS! hahahah! He's so unbelievably witty and funny and hella smart! He's an artist, an illustrator AND a programmer. Yes, a programmer. He actually wrote programs to make his signature art. One might think it's kinda not fair to let a machine do a lot of the work for you, but when you really think about it, it's ingenious! I mean, those are still his drawings, his ideas, and his eye for art that makes every final product a winner. It's sick how he thinks about these things… AND HE ROCKS BECAUSE OF IT!

"MANILAAAAAAAAA!" :p
