Underneath, the unintelligible truth."

We might as well be strangers.

Saturday, March 3, 2007

I don't know your face no more
Or feel your touch that I adore
I don't know your face no more
It's just a place I'm looking for
We might as well be strangers in another town
We might as well be living in a different world
We might as well
We might as well
We might as well

I don't know your thoughts these days
We're strangers in an empty space
I don't understand your heart
It's easier to be apart

We might as well be strangers in another town
We might as well be living in a another time
We might as well
We might as well
We might as well be strangers
Be strangers
For all I know of you now
For all I know of you now
For all I know of you now
For all I know

Ang paghanga at pagmamalasakit, di dapat pinagsasabay.

Sayang… sayang talaga. Sana pinabayaan ko na lang.

TROUBLE IN KILLING FIELD PARADISE
02.25.07 - as if shooting a film wasn't enough drama! We had to come face to face with kumander perry. :p It was good that they were actually nice enough to consider the fact that we were just students. Coupled with good acting, we appeared to be ignorant enough to be let go. *Whew!*

FROM CLASS FREAK TO DRUM MANIAC
02.26.07 - it was really aggravating to finally find the energy to come to school and then arrive with no class to make the trip worth it. Seriously, i'm getting tired of this. -_- Fortunately for me though, my good DA friends coaxed me to join "The Circle" and walk with them to Timezone g4. All it took was one game… and now, i'm hooked. [curses you fools! sabi na maaadik ako eh! hahah!]

BACK TO WHERE IT ALL STARTED
02.27.07 - Will this ever come to an end? Will it come soon? Please make it come soon. Please?

How timely. The email chose to appear again today, from the most unlikely people… TWICE. *sigh* I hate that God's in-your-face sense of humor is always painfully on cue. -_-

Feeling like shit.

Friday, February 23, 2007

Why can't i ever LISTEN in THIS class?! -_-

GAWD. I'm moody, i'm hungry and my eyes feel like they were forced open and were smoked. I tried my best to snooze early last night, but it's back again. I spent hours shifting around the bed with my eyes closed and my brain ticking away non-stop. I ended up with just an hour to sleep before i had to wake up again to go to school. It's not even funny how stressful this is to feel my muscles throwing a fit no matter how or which way i move them.

I need a bed. A really really soft and comfortable bed. NOW.

The Little Things.

I'm glad i made the promo materials for AQUANCERT. It was a complete success! Kudos to candice and the rest of the organizers. ^_^ Too bad she didn't get put up for auction though… that would've been hella fun. Pick-up lines, lap dances and body shots almost always spell GOOD OL' WHOLESOME ENTERTAINMENT. :p

WAAAAH! God Bless demanding managers and uber late gigs. Urbandub was forced to perform earlier than scheduled last night at aquancert… and man was it amazing. @_@ I mean, the adrenalin the audience exuded once they caught sight of the band setting up was enough to get me going. Just imagine how hyped i already was by the time Gabby Alipe stepped in front of the mic in all his dimpled glory… haaaaaay whattasight! Watching them perform was like seeing a movie with a perfect score. It was as if the album track was simply playing and they were moving along with the song. Needless to say, it was a perfect performance. It was nothing like the typical live performances other pseudo musicians do that will give you Milli Vanilli flashbacks. THEY ROCKED… and they rocked hard. I looooooove urbandub. *_*

CAN'T WAIT FOR HEROES 17! Damn cliffhangers… episode 16 kills!

Living again.

While my head is being split open, i will blog about the highlights of my very "hectic and happening" weekend.

UP FAIR

After class last saturday, i went to meet up with candice and some of her college friends at UP Diliman. It was the UP fair and it was the "no saksakan day" so it was safe to hang out and go "sight-seeing." :p We stayed to chat in front of the educ building for quite some time before we finally managed to enter the fair. By then, all 5 of us were parched and terribly hungry… so much so that we probably made manong babba shawarma go crazy over our picky orders:

Mariel: Yung akin po walang kamatis.

Nicca: Kamatis lang po yung sakin.

Candice: Akin po sibuyas lang meron.

Leonor: Ako po sibuyas lang wala…

Ako: …hahah pareho po kami.

It actually shocked me how much rice there really was in that 50 peso worth shawarma rice. UMAAPAW! And in fairness, it was pretty tasty. None of us completely finished the meal though… puro mga walang gana at nalipasan na kasi ng gutom. Ang icky pa kasi may mga magsyota na naglalampungan sa tabi-tabi namin. ehck. Get a room! -_-

After the meal, our bladders forced us to make a short exit… or should i say a VERY LOOOOOONG exit. We walked back to where we entered [expecting to see that cute chinito guy stamping away at the entrance :p] only to find out that the exit was all the way around the fences, on the other side of sunken garden. THIS, then, forced us to walk an endless walk back to a building near educ [which was right across the entrance] just so we could pee. ehck. dugyut at ngarag na kaming lima sobra! We didn't even have enough strength to go back in right away. Especially since i was set to go home in less than an hour, the effort wasn't worth it at all.

All tired and sleepy, we sat to rest in front of educ again until i went home. Hay. It was fun hanging out with them. There was no hint of awkwardness at all. I've met nicca and mariel before, but it was the first time i hung out with them… and they were really welcoming and fun to be around. I'm glad didice found good friends in college. c:

HEROES

A couple of days ago while the guys were being guys, talking about guy stuff ( :p ), myks pulled out a dvd from his bag and offered to lend it to me. I didn't even ask, he just thought i'd enjoy it and that i should watch it. [I thought that was pretty nice of him by the way. c:] It was season 1 of this new series they've been hooked on lately, HEROES. The next day, he gave me the dvd for the latest 4 episodes of the second season… and i swore i would watch it over the weekend.

Sunday, i woke up pretty early considering i was dead tired from UP the night before. Jaren came over at aroud 10am and stayed until lunch. After she left, i started watching Heroes — 1pm. i finished all the 15 episodes i had, non-stop — 2am. [i paused only to eat pizza while watching the replay of Veronica Mars on ETC. :p]

I mean… WOAH. That was the shit right there! Aeo was right, Heroes is pretty fast-paced and it really keeps you glued. Watching it is like seeing a comic book come alive in front of you. [Well, it IS actually a graphic novel.] How the scenes are shot, how the characters are laid out, it's pretty cool. And it's not something you get tired of or anything… somehow even without super powers, it's quite relatable. Plus of course… Milo Ventimiglia's in it. :p [Jess and Rory for-evah!]

So there. That was the last couple of days for me… Right now i'm at home. I'm supposed to be in school but unfortunately, i am in no condition to leave the house. Like i said, my head feels like it's being split in two. Even more, my body's not really up for anything right now. It's just tired… really, really tired. -_-

Sleeplessness has made a comeback… i wonder why. [ehck. not.]

Well since i'm already here, i might as well blog about nonsense just for the heck of it because it's either that or i go back to blinking the night away while i stare at the ceiling. -_-

Anywho, i've been playing this java game lately. I started out clueless, but then i ended up looking stupid, screaming at my cellphone. :p It's WORMS FORTS and it's highly addictive. Although i have no idea why i can't stop playing the moment i start, that's just how it happens. I couldn't even get past Level 2 five days ago; I didn't even know if there were any more levels to play after that! But just a few hours ago, i finished the game… i've unlocked all 20 friggin' levels! And the sad part: I WANT MORE LEVELS!!! :c It really does suck that now i can only do all the levels over. Enjoy pa rin pero wala nang thrill. Hay. Is there a PC version for this game? XD

Happy Heart’s Day.

Wednesday, February 14, 2007

Heart's Day. Ack.

Surprise, surprise, 21 years of Feb14s spent with only friends to celebrate it with. Then again there were years when a bunch of single friends became couples and i ended up with no one to be "alone" with on valetine's day.

Anywho… i'm not really sad. It's something that someone gets used to i guess. Atleast i woke up with a dozen orange roses on the table… my mom sent them. She probably thought:

"Kawawa naman yung anak ko…
walang magbibigay sa kanya ng bulaklak.
Bilhan ko na lang siya."
